So far I’ve been doing a lot of research and as I’ve been planning so far, I plan on doing 3-4 quality and very relevant sources to my juuling topic. Essentially, I will be speaking on an introduction, what juuling is and what the problem is, speak 1-2 paragraphs about the problem. Then bring up a counter argument and break it down so it supports my claim, then hopefully and finally conclude with a solid analysis on the entire essay with every paragraph linking back to my claim.
INTRODUCTION: Introduce topic, introduce issue
Paragraph 1: Use first source with evidence to support claim, (talk about advertisements and marketing
Paragraph 2: Use second source with evidence to compare trends of cigarettes in the roaring twenties.
Paragraph 3: Use third source with evidence to analyze the counter argument about how e-cigarettes help quit regular cigarettes
Conclusion: Tie all information together and summarize with a healthy analysis of what should be done and why in a few sentences.
Get the most out of your outline by explicitly writing a thesis. Next, write full claim sentences. Put the hard work into articulating the points you plan to make (using full sentences).
