Speech 3

Currently in my speech I will be going over magic with a deck of cards. I’ve been experienced with illusionary tricks and “magic” for a couple years and know a lot of card tricks and cool gags that can entertain an audience. So far I have a fresh deck of cards and have been looking through my journal to find a magic trick that would be appealing and easy to learn for the audience. As it stands I’m going to be doing a trick that would be great for asking someone on a date. It’s pretty cheesy but I think its super easy to learn and a great skill if someone ever wishes to ask someone out. I believe this skill would be beneficial for someone to learn because I believe that this skill can build someone’s confidence for a lot of starting conversations. Sometimes it takes a little prop to do so, so hopefully this will motivate my classmates or anyone I ever say this speech to, to utilize the skill and build their confidence. As I go through this speech, I will try to speak from an honest perspective about building confidence and teaching my audience ways they can interact with people in life and how they should do a lot of cool niche activities that someone could find interest in. It doesn’t always have to be a deck of cards. Thankfully I’ve remastered my trick and I believe I’ll be able to demonstrate this trick with a lot of confidence when I have to display it to everyone. I’ll be practicing more as the week progresses.
