The metaphor of the beautiful lie, and the ugly truth goes a very long and far way in life. As life continues on, and we experience everything we can, every vast intricacy of our own world, the size of a peppercorn in an everlasting and ever expanding Universe, is what we consider joyful and pleasurable and fun a lie? Some say that life is just a cosmic coincidence that eventually leads to the inevitable grave. The ugly truth simply speaks we’re just walking meat sacks waiting for its inevitable doom. While yes it’s true in a sense to speak the hard truth. We will all die at some point. We may not know when, we may not know how. However, is it not our job as humanity and each soul that possess all of us to lead a beautiful truth and crush the ugly lie? Is it really a metaphor? The real answer is, there isn’t one. It is up to our mind to determine what we believe is beautiful or ugly. For many as children, they grow up to believe doctors are these super hero’s that save lives and are always the good guy. However as one groups up and invests more time and the sense of the eye truly realizes there is more behind this dark field. You won’t save every life, you will tell the most darkest of news to everyone, and that is the ugly truth. However, there are peaches and cream down that path. There will be glorious moments of saving and healthy minds to protect and treat. However one must realize this yin and yang balance is required to keep us all sane and human. While we may not enjoy it, this is what shapes us into being human. The human mind is so intricate and ever so vastly amazing. That despite some of these ugly truths we still move forward everyday for a better tomorrow.  I address this metaphor, due to the simple fact that Geary stated metaphors like these are in everyday life. They may be unexpected, but they exist. I’d speak to him about noticing what common everyday truths and lies that are hidden in our very lives. I’d like to discuss how we should live these lives and see how we move forward from them.
