After reading Anne’s writing, I did realize and if not agreed with a lot of her statements. That the first draft is the “child’s draft”. When I think of this, I think usually of using non-eloquent language with disconnected pieces of evidence and etc. As I glanced my own writing and even the notes my peers said to me, I definitely did see how my writing to myself was child’s play. I saw that my language usage could have been far higher in quality.

As far my revision plan strategy goes, obviously the first thing I wish to do is simply re-read my essay again and look for any disconnecting pieces that I can see with my own eyes. After so, I will be looking in depth of my peers annotations and comments and act accordingly. Thankfully with 3 sets of notes there is a lot of information for me to address and really make sure I’m on the right track for a superb essay. I plan on doing some side research to help benefit my argument further. After all the correcting and organizing, I will be re-planning the structure of my essay for a finalization. Once my plan is ready, I will go in and place all my information, quotes, and final pieces of shaping. Finally, I will polish for any grammatical and spelling mistakes in addition to a more eloquent vocabulary standard.
