After reading chapter 13 of “Entering Online Conversations” the whole chapter alone in my eyes just doesn’t make sense. Mostly I argue about how there needs to be a chapter dedicated to the internet and how to do “the internet”. I mean, there is no direction rules (grammar wise) when it comes to the internet. The internet is an entire different domain that doesn’t exactly have an entrance exam with grammar or people who belittle you otherwise for not having it. The rules of engagement that was offered throughout the text were absolutely stale and not very common in my eyes based on my perspective of the internet. However, what I did learn however was the perspective of how people see the internet. This perspective will be crucial in my paper as I compare both sides of vaping and people who simply don’t enjoy or are heavily against vaping. While I did take a good read and noticed some interesting stuff, the text didn’t really phase me because of my own text chats I personally engage in online. I guess it’s lack of relevance or appliance to me has minimal need or effect on me.
